HONG KONG, July 27, 2010 - To further maximize its strong business
performance and recent growth, Avery Dennison Roll Materials Asia Pacific has
named Mr. Georges Gravanis as its new Vice President and General Manager.
Formerly Vice President of Sales and Customer Service for Roll Materials Europe,
Mr. Gravanis led the European team from 2006, implementing innovative strategies
to improve customer intimacy and increase growth and profitability through
differentiated value propositions.

Mr. Gravanis succeeds Mr. John Quinn, who will return to the United States in
August to take on a new leadership role in Avery Dennison's expanded business
development organization.
In his new role, Mr. Gravanis will assume overall management responsibility
for Avery Dennison Roll Materials Asia Pacific (RMAP) operations in China,
Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India,
Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He will also lead the Philip M. Neal
Research Center in Kunshan, China.

Gravanis Joins Avery Dennison Roll Materials Asia Pacific
Before joining Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe in France in 2003, Mr.
Gravanis was Director of the US$300 million global polyurethane specialties at
Bayer AG. Prior to that, he was Commercial Director at Lyondell Chemical Company
in numerous locations throughout the United States and Europe.
